A friend of mine actually have the written salary in his contract lower than in job offer.

Naturally he protested and in the end the problem was rectified. Not knowing the whole story, I'm not sure whether it was a genuine typo error or whether he was offered a higher salary than his job grade in the first place, but this thing do happen.
