This is another silly thread. CuriousButDetermined if you were arguing that this kind of TV needed to be banned here in Qatar then I would say nothing because I understand that your culture is the reason for your opinions. When it comes to regional requirements I am a visitor here and I am happy to fit in with every single regional law and local etiquette. But elsewhere in the world nudity is interpreted differently. I was an avid viewer of Bay Watch and I can assure you it was not because of the plots.
Suggest what you like for Qatar, because I would never dream of trying to change your views and beliefs here. But please don't think for one moment that you have any right to dictate your ideals to any other culture outside of your own country. I personally have no problem with Madonna (well maybe she is a bit past it now, so perhaps I do) shaking her bits on TV. I have no problem with the levels of nudity in my own country, and I would be very shall we say angry, if someone like you tried to censor my viewing there.
When you created this thread you knew it was going to provoke the exact reaction you have got. If anyone's point of view has been changed by your posts here, can they please stand in a line to correct me now....
