I love the idea of Linux and the ethos behind it. And indeed when it comes to servers Linux is very popular because it is cheap and allows economical LAMP development. However I need applications from Adobe, and I also need 100% MS Office. I know there are tons of similar apps available for Linux, and yes I know about Open Office, GIMP and the likes. But to get the job done quickly and have easy collaboration with the rest of the world I just have to stay with MS. The media love windows 7 and from what I read it makes up for the Vista shambles. I am just waiting for the correct opportunity to install windows 7 on my development environment.
