actually R/As are suitable for cities that have lesser traffic....which was the case in doha several years ago.now every tom,dick and harry has a car of his own.if there are 5 members in a house,the family has at least 3 cars!can't blame them either....if they depend on one car to drop them all off at work,none of them will reach work on time.so the only solution here is to take out all the R/As (okay,at least the major traffic clogging ones) and replace them with the more impartial signals.
