Karwa should be good. If you are an Indian, you can get an instructor who can speak your mother tounge(Malayalam/Tamil/Hindi etc) or English. Produce your home country original driving licence alongwith photo and Qatar ID copy. They will arrange permission for short course, if you wish so. Karwa is strict on timings. But overall good.

If you drive car regularly in your home country, you just need the "road grip" in Qatar. Remember to follow the rules (seat belt, signals etc) always. When you go for the test, remember to go well dressed.
