I'm afraid I'm so stupid and literal that you must define for me what is "respectable" dress. Up to the chin and down to the wrists and ankles? I'm OK with that as long as it is enforced consistently and I haven't seen that yet in Qatar. I certainly have every intention of respecting the Qu'ran. In fact, I read it in Arabic. But I don't know the do's and don't's of when and even whether or not I can physically pick one up. I come from a legal system that is detailed down to the smallest print possible. AND one that presumes innocence. Isn't that why we are here on QL? To learn adn teach each other these things?
