"As per the Sale and Purchase Agreement clause no. 9: The Purchaser shall be responsible for and pay for Utilities' connection and consumption charges, and any property or local authority taxes levied, if at all, on the Unit from the Completion Date, meaning that: The client should pay the connection fees for all the utilities, the fees to be paid by First Qatar on behalf of all clients (End Users) for the whole building, to be collected from the end users as per the distributed area wise." I understand that the cost of these fees is way more than expected, and probably more than reasonable, but it sounds like it was contractually agreed to by all buyers? I'm not sure I can see the legal way out of paying these charges if this is what was stated in the original contract. Is it more than expected? Yes, way more. Is it illegal? You'd have to show me a clause to the contrary.
