Zakat is an amount which a Muslim should give from his annual income, and it 2.5 % of your annual income.
for example if your annual income is 100,000 Qatari Ryal then you will give 2500 Qatari Ryal to the poor people and you can divide the 2500 QR to five people so that each one gets 500 QR.
Once the poor people receives the money, many good things will happen:
1. Hard feeling from the poor people will disappear.
2. The poor people can send their children to schools and educate them.
