How does anyone know whether this was an accident or not. The cause of the collision was not mentioned or discussed at all. As example suppose he was reading the newspaper when he hit the light pole?? Still an accident?? Many countries are moving away from the term accident when related to automobiles in favor of the term "crash" or "collision" because it has been proven that the vast majority of these incidents are someone's fault - therefore someone is responsibible either through an action or lack of action (negligence). None of us here know the facts of the case yet we are ready to judge....
