In both cases accident happened and in both cases they suffered the loss of their beloved due to their negligence.
But why one got behind bars and other walked away freely?
Honestly, this is purely discrimination of Nationality!!
At least Govt should have put the parents behind bars for few months or whatsoever... or else they should have asked the husband to pay the penalty for the damage for the light pole and walk away because he suffered a lot same way as the parents suffered a lot for their child.
About blood money, I agree that if his wife family demands he has to pay as per the Law whereas in case of child there is no blood money since the parents are his beneficiaries.
To make is more simple. There should be unified law that Anyone who intentionally or unintentionally take the life of any human being should go behind the bars.
Rest other issues such as blood money or damage money will depends on the nature of the case.
