I have to strongly disagree with the Nigerian lady and the Egyptian guy.

I really don't think beating is right. My parents never hit me but one lecture from my Dad and one of my Mom's cold stares was enough to let me know Id better not do "it" again. I think I turned out alright for the most part :)
