even if it is in qatar, if 2 Indians meet, and if they ask frm wer u r, obviously they are gona say frm wich state they are.
and as shreeya said, if som one asked frm India , frm wer u are, and u replied am frm India, they might think u are crazy !!
and if any foreigners asked , for sure u haf to say m frm India instead goa or maharashtra or amchi mumbai r kerala or wateve, !!
