Azam the problem with online remittances is that you are the one solely filling out the remittance forms. If the remittance is returned it is either due to your faulty input or a problem with the bank the draft was issued to. If you read the policy for remittances it says the bank is not responsible for such errors, and as your account is QR account they cannot keep the money in another currency and at the same time tie it to your account. Bank drafts are much different as they are a form of pre-paid cheque which can only be cashed by the beneficiary.
No, I am not a banker but when it comes to my money I do indeed read the fine print. To date I have never lost a single penny in such transactions. _____________________________________________________
