it has been these past few days the issue of filipino/filipina's reputation on the net. Frankly, I have nothing against the poster, we might misunderstood 'him' for giving 'his' own view, but the real issue here is about the 'proposed law' of the Hongkong gov't.regarding filipina 'maids'. Well, there's nothing wrong with being a maid, what! As far as I'm concern, some maids gave dignity to their chosen field career. So what if they are maids? The only reason why this all boils up into some hot balloon is that, low as the level of work this maids can be, they're still being stepped-on! For those not being aware of what a filipino culture is, pls, allow me to say, 'pinoys' are rather weird if not unique in some other Asians. Why? because we tend to react on issues that concerns our 'being filipinos'. Me, too, do not understand, but probably, because we were brought up to love our 'race', to love our country and give pride/dignity to our job (whatever it may be).
