UmmJake, it really is terrible to feel so helpless, and not be able to help the child in need.
Every country has it's fair share of ills and Qatar will eventually grow (it already has in so many ways)with its social services. Human rights, protection..........Animal rights (which is close to my heart) will all need to be addressed if Qatar wishes to take it's place amongst the 1st world countries.
China may have the highest economic growth rate of the century, but they are still a third world country until they can respect human rights.
Money and power is not everything.
