The security was useless as it the departures area is a stones throw away from the main entrance. If it was an issue (i.e for a bombing) just getting to the initial check would be enough to take more than half the airport anyway as this check is about 300 meters from the other check (which is the thourough check anyway).

Also, a majority of people in this portion of the airport arent even travelling anyway. If their purpose was to put something in someones bag these are screened after they go through immigration.

Alot of people being saved??
