I agree these metal detectors and such are a waste of time. I always go through these here in Doha and light the thing up everytime. If I ask them if they want me to go through again or remove my waych they pass me through anyway. To be honest I used to walk through there with my purse not being scanned and no one said a word.

Syrias airport also doesnt let you through until your flight is on the board. I was protesting as I had access to the business class lounge and wanted to eat, do some shopping and tie up some work ends in the business center but they wouldnt budge.
