Richierich, sorry to say if your friend happens to be from your own country, I can very well say inspite of so called knowing reading and writing community from your country, still people dont understand when you people coummunicate! Which is worse tell me? I can show people from this country itself which constitutes different nationality, group or community who dont understand the dialects from your origin when they speak! Most important you speak, read and write English the international language!!!

May be people from India whom your friend might have met, could say the same thing about your friend!
