I like your observation... what do the kids get to watch on telly??? for sure violent stuff..
(I used to hate cartoons when I was little... because of that...except scooby doo!)
and in the shopping malls you can see graphic violent photos of victims in Palestine (which shocked me)

but a kiss and it is demonised...
