I think the root of cheating is simply that one or the other is looking for something that they are not getting in their relationship. Men who cheat with someone who is not as goodlooking as their wives may do so because there is a lack of respect in the relationship for instance, or a woman may cheat because she doesnt get the emotional support she may need and want . Communication between couples is paramount.
