we sometimes forget there is a world of difference between a 'cultural' muslim and a Mu'min.
Just because someone is 'born' (still can't get my head around that concept) a muslium does not mean they can except the 'whole nine yards', so to speak.

There are at least 5 types of 'muslim'.
1 Those that have thought about it long and hard and gladly agree and take it up in all it's aspects - a Mu'min
2 Those that have not thought about it at all and just accept it and live by it's tennents.
3 Those that have thought about it, don't agree 100%, but live as a cultural muslim and don't let it dominate their lives.
4 Those that don't agree at all but live as one in public to keep the peace but have abandoned it in private.
5 Those that have thought about it long and hard and, even though 'born' a muslim, reject the idealogy in both public and private. They may convert to another religion, become agnostic or atheist as a result.

This goes for other faiths as well, not only muslims

"Deaths in the Bible. God - 2,270,365
not including the victims of Noah's flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, or the
many plagues, famines, fiery serpents, etc because no specific numbers
were given. Satan - 10."
