i agree with you - qatari males, especially the younger ones (but not only) just don't have the maturity/class/education it requires to drive properly.
i don't know what it is but there is just something wrong with men in the Gulf. there was a great segment about Saudis on BBC. i don't remember the exact figures, but something like 75% of women there get a university degree (many in nothing relevant to getting a job after but that's another matter) while most men these days don't go past high school, with many not even finishing that.
maybe the law should forbid them from driving (instead of shooting them) and force them to have their mothers drive them around.
