UKEngQatar - I don't think we're talking about salaries and stuff. Most of us realise that wages are relevant to your home country, hence why some earn more than others. This is more to do with the way people are treated.

What you describe isn't really positive discrimination. The only example of positive discrimination in Qatar I can think of is Qatarisation. The same happens in the UK and other places - e.g. a company must employ a certain quota of ethnic minorities, disabled people etc.
