This is the same thing happened to me for Saudi. I had to cancel my first visa before I get the new one even if it is expired. I never travelled on that visa.
I contacted my old company and they transfer that visa to someone else name which was hired in my place. They put a cancelled stamp on the visa which was stamped on my passport. After that I got a new visa.
Probably you might get the visa in the same situation which you can only know once the new company apply it for you. You dont need to worry about it. You should talk to you old company for visa cancellation or transfer. They would listen to you if there is a chance that they can save their visa.
