Im reading on visa categories.

My working visa is now company sponsored. If I dont get an NOC from my company can a qatari-national/citizen sponsor me? so I can work for another company? even w/o NOC?

Thanks

The issue is if NHA refused your registration, suggest you will be able to come, how will you practice your profession? You need to sort out the Visa issue and the NHA Registration.

You are welcome aco. I don't know any such agency who can help you in this regard.

Without NOC I don't think there is a legal way of doing it but you can push your employer for NOC because of the problem you have stated above.

Thanks Sara Haj.

NHA refused to processed my license because according to them Private companies cannot sponsor general practioners if they don't have a specialist supervising the GPs.

That is another violation of my company aside from the falsification of my documents (specifically visa).

Also, my company never gives NOC to it's employees.

With their anomalies and violations do you think I can demand and they should give me NOC?

Do you know anybody or any agency/ministry who can help me regarding this?

Thanks again.

Thanks for the comment.

I hope you don't mind me asking more.

My company doesn't give NOC to it's employees even before.

You think I can demand for NOC or Don't I deserve an NOC since they falsified my documents and misrepresented me? Is there any government agency/ministry who can help me.

Is there any penalty for companies who flsifies documents?

Thanks

Your NHA application form and attested documents from your country - has been submitted to NHA, the registration does not require a visa so once you have the NHA Approval, your position could be changed in your visa.

Also, the position in the visa could be change, the PRO of your company should be able to do that.

You can always change you profession on your visa. The procedure of changing visa is listed somewhere in this forum and you can search that. You can only change your profession if your family has the visa for that category which obviously they don't have otherwise they could have called you on correct visa.

Government institutes do not have power to cancel your cleaner visa. The only option you have is that somehow you get a NOC from your current employer. Find a new job and come back on new visa in a new company.

Thanks.

If for example the new institution getting me is a qatar government institution as a physician and plans to process a physician-visa for me. Can they do something about my Cleaner-Visa. I mean do qatar-government institution have the power to drop/cancel the cleaner visa since it is wrong and illegal?

Thanks. Please advise Sara and others who has an idea.

Thank you for replying.

Aside from -I want all my working documents legal and not misrepresented, I also want to bring my family with me to qatar. Correct me if Im wrong, with a Cleaner visa I cannot bring my family.

Also, I have already passed the licensure examination for physicians and my application for license was not processed because of two reasons accoring to NHA:

1. My company (private) is not entitled to sponsor general Practitioner &

2. They saw my visa (cleaner) and Im applying for a physician license.

If I resign, I might be charged of breach of contract. If I file a complaint against them I might get trminated.

Isnt my concern (the company misrepresented me and falsified my identification and papers) a valid reason for me to demand an NOC from them?

Please advise.

Thanks a lot.

Since your visa is being processed by your new company/employer then you will know soon enough. If they will succeed in gettng you the work visa then your old visa is not valid..otherwise, the new visa application will not be approved.

There is no point talking to Qatar emabssy in India.

As long as you do not want to bring in your family. You do not have to worry about the visa category. Is visa category has cause any problem or would cause any problem to you?

If it is not broken then why fix it?

Im a doctor. the private company in qatar falsified the information in my visa. Instead of a visa for physician, they gave me a visa of a cleaner. So in my residence id indicates a cleaner also. I already pass the licensure examination for physician. but all my documents indicate Im a cleaner. I requested them to correct it but they have been ignoring my concern for 6months. I really want to work in qatar, with all my papers legal and not misrepresented. I am planning to resign if they will not correct it, however my company is very known for not giving NOC (No Objection Certificate) especially Im just 6months in the job. Please advise.

Amoud, you said your husband is in this kind of work. I hope you can also give me advice.

Thanks

This is the same thing happened to me for Saudi. I had to cancel my first visa before I get the new one even if it is expired. I never travelled on that visa.

I contacted my old company and they transfer that visa to someone else name which was hired in my place. They put a cancelled stamp on the visa which was stamped on my passport. After that I got a new visa.

Probably you might get the visa in the same situation which you can only know once the new company apply it for you. You dont need to worry about it. You should talk to you old company for visa cancellation or transfer. They would listen to you if there is a chance that they can save their visa.

If they are in the process of your new visa you will know soon enough. If the work visa expired then there shouldnt be aproblem, the only problem you would have is if the company made you a residence permit, and since you did not enter Qatar they couldnt have as you need to do fingerprinting and a medical for that.

If there is an issue with you coming to Qatar because of your previous visa immigration will inform your new employer. If the new visa is issued... then welcome to Qatar :)

Again, I stress that if you did not enter the country and the work visa expired you will not be kept in the system as having a valid visa. This only happens with residence permits.

Lol... this is my husbands line of work... you just got a free consultation.

Maybe you can try to talk to them, ask them what is the new procedure in getting the new visa under a new company.

And yes unless they cancel the first one you CAN NOT get a new one.

Arch, you have to clear something up first (and in fact this is a work visa)

1 - Did you enter the country?

2 - Did your new company already issue you another visa?

Will i talk to qatar embassy in India for that??

so now if they dont cancle it.. means i would not be able to vist qatar with my new job???

Arch even though the first visa is expired it is still active in the system and if the first company did not cancel it will remain active, you are still under their sponsorship.

Whose handling your recruitment?? If you have an agency handling it advice them to to contact the first company and ask for a cancellation of your visa. After they got the cancellation that's the only time you can apply for a new visa under the new company.

Arch, you need to ask the company who applied the visa before to cancel it first before you can applied another visa in another company. Your name still in the system under the first company and it will create a problem If the new company applied you a new work visa.

Very simple way to find out... If the visa has a sponsor name on it.... its work... if it doesnt.... it visit (tourist)... Could he perhaps be referring to a business visa? But he wouldnt get a business visa valid for a year, but he also wouldnt get a work or visit visa valid that long... confusing

By adnanmzfr• 25 Aug 2008 21:04

The term one visit is used to indicate that the no of visitor is one in no.

I think he is right they write it this way but acutally it is different than the visit visa.

There is no such thing as a work visit visa, it is either a work visa OR a visit visa, they have completely different implications and are applied for in completely different means. A visit visa can be applied for by a person, not by a company, a work visa can be applied for by a company only, not a person....

Actually you need to process the work visa to the residence work visa after you come here. There is a one month long prcedure here for that at least.

After that you cannot change a company in Qatar unless the company gives you a NOC, for you it seems no problem, but do ask your loacal country's Qatari embassy person for this issue.

By tallg• 25 Aug 2008 20:37

I think you can get a visit work visa Amoud, as opposed to a visit tourist visa.

I dont really get it, a visit visa is completely different than a work visa. A visit visa is for tourism, a work visa is issued by a company to come to Qatar to work, which is then transferred to a residence permit. If you didnt enter the country and the visa has expired you should have no difficulties in getting another visa. If you are going to be issued a work visa from your new company and they already procured the visa it means you have no worries as the company would not be able to issue you another visa if there was issue with your previous visa.

Visa Type : WORK VISA-One Vist,

Purpose of Visa : VISIT

Duration of Residence: 1 year

Will it have any effect in getting a new visa from a different company???

If it was a visit visa or a work visa that expired and you didnt actually come to Qatar you should have no problems I wouldnt imagine.
