I think this article is more indicative of the rubbish standard of English that the Gulf Times journalists have...
Remember that interview would have been in Arabic...
Every article in that paper...has erroneous collocation... that is sticking words together incorrectly in one sentence....all they need to do is buy a decent dictionary.
Really we should be getting better newspapers by now!
