Its only we Muslims, that made it difficult for our marriage. Dowry is not necessary to be skyhigh.

In my place, a dominant Muslim area in the Philippines...dowry also become a big issue in marriages which I personally view it wrong!

Our man and his parents have to take a loan from here and there just to cover the expenses of marriage and dowry of course, then after the marriage....both the bride and the groom paid and settle the loans, loool! then who enjoyed the dowry?...hmmmm the parents, brothers, uncles, and other relatives.
