here is a what I did once and it works fine.
have stomach exercise before meals. you have to lay on your back, move your legs up and down slowly and without bending them. legs have to go up to a right angle with your body. when you move them down, try not to have them touch the floor. you will find it difficult initialy, you can hardly do it 5 time to start with but by time you can do more.
after the exercise, wait for 30 minutes then you can have your meal. chew the food thoroughly. theoretically, each bite should be chewed about 50 times. this will give you time while eating and makes your stomach feel full at the proper time. besides, you help your stomach to do minimal digestion effort.
of course the type of food and the number of meals you have per day play an important role.
