history is a funny thing, because if you go back 10 years then you get one story, but if you back 1000 years you get another.
i think i've made my point quite clear - that at this stage who is occupying what or who is doing what is not the main issue. the problem is that 2 sets of people are trying to live in one space. at this point i believe that both groups have a right to their own country, and i would oppose anyone on either side who stands in the way of that.
i think the israelis have committed atrocities and unspeakable acts.
i think the palestinians have committed atrocities and unspeakable acts.
the fact that one side has more casualties than the other is something to consider but it certainly does not excuse that side, as you seem to suggest.
evil is evil. a serial killer who murders 10 people is no less evil than a serial killer who murders 100 people.
as i said, it's time to move on and find a peaceful, negotiated settlement. hard line israelis who are opposed to giving an inch to the palestinians are part of the problem, as are hard line muslims.
once again, a solution will be found when people start loving their children more than they hate their enemies
