Ramadan is one of the other reasons i would say, most athaletes would be here at least two months before to train and aclimitise something most would not be able to do during ramadan as you can't even eat in your car. these are things that Qatar has too address. It is all well and good as I said before for those who are living here on a semi permenant basis we are used to this and we try our best to "do as the Romans do" but we are not talking about living here we are talking about an event that includes every country in the world that will bring people here for a minimum stay of 2 weeks people who really don't give a flying F*&^ about religion they are here to watch some of the best athaletes in the world compete against each other and to have a bit of fun. I know i saw this in sydney the exitment the celebrations of your country winning a medel. We are not talking of other M.E countries we are talking of Qatar this is were the epicentre will be not the U.A.E., not Barain but Qatar.
