Thanks for your comments . Points noted.  I aplologize if my posts digressed into Malaysian games and into spelling mistakes of one particular person yesterday.  I wasn't my intention to be so petty in the first place.  Unfortunaley, I was harassed and provoked by this guy for no reason. (Please read the early part of this thread as I was one of the first to respond to it).

I am still thinking about what made him come at me with guns blazing and at full throttle. I ignored his first couple of insults towards my countrywomen and then I queried him when he went into the topic about Malaysian sports just to irritate me further. Anyway, to all my QL friends, please accept my apology.

Now, back to this thread:  Yes, I come from a predominantly Muslim country. Whether we are a Muslim country or not, acceptance and ethics are dictated by the social norms of that country/locality. These norms are then promogulated into laws of that country on the foundations of morality.  Therefore, what is acceptable in one country or locality may be taboo in another.  As long as we are sensitive to the laws and customs of that country/locality, we should be alright I suppose. I belive in this:  "If we are different or do things differently, it doesn't necesssarily mean we are wrong."
