any solution that involves a baby crying for several weeks to adapt is wrong IMHO, and to simply dismiss this as a parent being "afraid of upsetting the baby" is pretty naive.
i agree with distracting them, trying this and that, trying to make him full on something aside from the bottle, etc. but it needs to be gradual.
we seem to partly agree at least (or maybe even mostly agree). i'm just not a fan of the "cry it out" approach. you can impose discipline without having your baby cry it out.
