Hi We have lived in Doha for 2 years coming from Manchester and I wish we had made the move 30 years ago. Yes we are wrinklies, but life is to live and not be scared of. 1 you and your partner must be married to live together, 2 shorts and skirts to the knee, cover midrif and shoulders. There are less restrictions than in England no tax and great weather. Do you know what it's like to go out every day without thinking do I need an umbrella,cardigan or coat. It takes a while to make friends as it does anywhere. There are one or two things I should worn you about, do not use the bidet in the summer as there is no cold water and you can get burned.You do not get coinage as change, you get a pack of chewing gum. The standard of driving is terrible, but we love it. Best of luck
