Why the need to 'run away' ? If it is to avoid paying up bank loan or other debts then beware, I've heard horror stories about someone who got nabbed while transiting Dubai airport due to unpaid loan to Qatar banks.
And who knows ? Your prospective employer may want to contact your current company for a reference check. Or you may need good conduct certificate and police clearance from Qatari authorities, say if you want to migrate to Australia or Canada.
