Declare yourself a non resident...and let your ties lapse with Canada (ie do not renew health cards, drivers licenses etc...). Make sure any property you have is leased at an arms length transaction to a third party (non related to you, so CCRA doesn't rule that it is available for your immediate use), likewise, ensure that any investemnts you have are locked in for the log term, and live more than 182 days outside of Canada, and Voila.....you are now supposed to pay your taxes to the country you reside in. What that? Qatar doesn't have ANY taxes? Maybe that's why its so attractive to Canadians!
