I love new experiences and new cultures. Living with my husband, I'm alittle more intune with the Muslim/Arabic (ie; traditions, religion, etc.) way of living but I'm also interested in the atmosphere as to how the local population views the westerners. Also, because I'm christian and my husband is muslim are there generally any problems that we could tenatively run in to? I know this shouldn't be a problem but it just makes me alittle leery being out of my home environment. I guess I'm just curious as to the overall situation there.
Places on the Pearl are they going to be quite expensive? I know the housing situation is expensive anyway but just wondered about the price range.
We are hoping to come over this summer to see him mom, so I guess I'll get a better understanding then. Nothing like seeing it for yourself.
