I must admit the guy in the website does look a little like me, but it must have been some good photoshop!! lol
I just did a small article with Penninsula today but just woke up from sleep, my natural curly hair, no shave and looking scary so it wont even look like the website if u guys come by that pic in the paper!! I will do a better article with Qatar Happening magazine cause they have a pro photographer there!
Guys its a small independent film but we are taking it to Cannes in May and hoping for the best, i think if i was able to bring the judges to Qatar and make them experience a day of my past life here when i used to work here, then took them to watch the movie then they would give me all the awards!! I did a good sad face in that movie!
The story of the movie is not mine, its a true story that happened to a European guy many years ago and the director wrote down this story concept and kept it for a while with him, and then when he met me he really felt i fit the character because i was in the same sad mindset/emotion that he needed the main actor to be in since i was feeling pretty screwed over and helpless, as for the person the real story happened to it has been many years and he is happy now he cant go back and do it.
So we basically took the guys story and replaced him with me, i am the guy from qatar who left his job and went to follow his dream and arrived in thailand, but from there the movie events arent what happened to me, but i experienced them through the making of the film.
I am sure everone will see the film when Qatar steals a fake copy in the cinema.
