How very odd!

Usually if your ABS light comes on, it means you have a problem with a wheel sensor, the wiring or the ABS ECU. I would doubt it is a faulty sensor as if it was, then no way would if affect the acceleration. Plus it is a bit early for an ABS sensor to fail at this stage.

It sounds like something has gone haywire which is causing the ABS light to come on intermittently.

Now I have heard on a Ford Scorpio a defective lamba sensor causing the ABS to light up!

I very much doubt it is fluid related, could be a defective sensor malfunctioning somewhere. It could be a dirty MAF sensor maybe, causing the gearbox to play up?

It could be really anything. Best thing is to take it to Nissan and let them hook up a computer to it and see if that throws up anything.

In the meantime join a Nissan owners forum, you might get a specialist to better guide you.
