the best way to raise a responsible kid is teach them responsiblity when they are young, always draw boundaries and not let them cross the boundaries, and teach thme respect by setting an example of respecting other humans irrespective of their social status, ethnicity and relegion.
Trust me these simple rules really effective..i speak as a mother and an educator.
