I never called you a typical German, you used it yourself, the word typical doesnt appear in my messages and I certainly have no wish to either imply or say that I am refering to you personally in any of my remarks.
I never missed anything in Germany, quite the opposite, I watched, listened and learnt. Generalizing again unfortunately, German woman are intelligent, logical, independant carrer minded people who are very self assured and confident. The problem lyes that due the fact that in Germany people are living longer, the child birth rate to falling the burden on the available work force is becoming greater. They must support an ever increasing older generation which requires especially women to work longer and make long and lasting careers, the wife and mother role is of course still there but for much of the younger generation of women a career becomes a greater importance, which is neither they fault or in alot cases there wish.
The trouble in all this is that German women have lost alot of there femininity on the way, again not because of choice. I have had many discussiona and talks with so many of of female freinds in Germany who readily admit to this problem.
It difficult after a hard day grinding out a career in a still Man dominated Germany to come home and start to be feminine.
