that it does not apply for everyone in Qatar! They target certain type or people! Just yesterday I personally violated traffic law ( without putting anybody in danger of course!!), and policeman stopped me.. it was dark, and he couldn't see who is inside of the car.. as soon as he saw a blond female, he tried to say in english something like "don't do it anymore" (or it was my imagination, as the guy couldn't put together two english words), and he let me go...
I am sure the same way the "law" works for the local...
others - welcome to pay ten times as much...
in general , all these “fares” are absolutely ridiculous, and don’t make any sense.. somebody with totally sick imagination could come up with this sick fares.. 3000...10,000...50,000.1 month jail, 3 months jail.... and what if i don’t have 10,000? I won’t be surprised, if in this case they give me a death penalty ..
