Misslillywhite...your suitor does not want you to work? Why ever not? I would be very wary of this...isn't it up to you whether you want to work..and would you be happy depending on someone for your finances?

Perhaps down the line there may be other things that he will not want you to do...decisions that he may make for you, etc...
