I rent a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath house in west london for 900 a month.
I just dont get it though, how can you logically compare the price of accomodation in London to Doha???
In London I can earn C30K sterling a year (210k QR). In Doha I can earn (96K maximum). My 2 bed appartment costs me more in Doha, my travel expenses are higher and my entertainment bill - well lets not even go there.
Yes I pay tax on my salary in the UK but ... I get healthcare, accessible law enforcement, education facilities, ... employment rights and human rights tend to be quite useful too.
And in London I have access to a world class city, with ALL the amenities and freedoms of the west. It's like comparing apples and oranges.
Oh and my next door neighbour pays 80 quid a week for his Uni digs up in the Midlands and Thames Valley University in Ealing (West London, about 5 miles from Hyde Park) costs 400 pounds a month. I think most of the information you have posted on your 'I Love Qatar' site is so innacurate and misleading its completely unfair on people who do not know better and use it to make informed decisions.
"I" can live for less and earn more in the UK than I can in Doha .. FAR less. Even taking taxation into consideration.
