Qatari asked me to check with some friends and acquaintances last week on the security implications of trolls and such like. Unfortunatly due to Qtel's dynamic networking there is no way of permanently blocking an IP as it would revolve round to one of the regulars being blocked for a day or two.
With regard to the PM's (my lord truth gets round to the point), certain rules and regulations should be set up.
1. PM's should be set up so that the only way you can send one to someone is if they are on your buddy list
2. PM functionality should only be awarded after say 50 or 100 points have been earned on the site itself, this way we will get to know the persons personality before hand.
This would stop all the annoying PM's that women are getting and also means that you have the option not to accept someone as a buddy so no annoying PM's.
