The owners of the dogs (3 dogs) went on holiday 4 weeks ago and left the dogs in a 3mtr by 7 mtr alley way. We had no idea the dogs were there as we live on the other side of the compound. One day last week, while my son was riding his bike, the dogs escaped and attacked him from behind. The compound caretaker managed to drag my son away and take shelter in the nearest house.

The police and dog catchers were alerted, and the dogs have been taken away. My son was taken to HMC emergency where the injuries to his arms and head were treated. He is now on a program of rabies shots.

I dont blame the dogs, i blame the owners for abandoning the dogs and leaving them... obviously the dogs went mad and attacked as soon as they got out.

I have taken photos of the injuries, and the alley where the dogs were kept. I immediately filed a case against the owners.

However, i have no idea what to expect here. Can someone recommend a good lawyer?
