Are you trying to replace Q-Tel one with the Netgear that you got? Or are you planning to connect both of them together to get the Internet Access? If you are going to use the Netgear alone, there should be no problems ... but if you are going to use Q-Tel modem also along with your router then you have to configure Q-Tel one as a modem only .. Put both of them on the same subnet [Netgear & Q-Tel] and that is it.
