I used to once believe that absence did make the heart grow fonder... but then i also questioned it... for whom does the absent heart wander?

In your case, maybe your man is getting aquainted with new people here and making friends... thats all a novelty when you're in a new place and yeh that maybe the reason he's kinda ignoring you... but it should be ok once you're here... you guys can hang out together.

If you feel there is some other reason, maybe you should have a talk and and ask him to get his priorities right.
