Alhamdulillah I have met many non expat friends here, but it's also nice to meet people who share similar interests (television shows, sports etc.). Its purpose can be to help expat Muslims assimilate.
The name will work itself out within the context of the conversation. When I’m talking about College Sports, and I say:
“The SEC (Southeastern Conference) is toughest conference to play in.”
No one thinks I’m talking about the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) :)
And yes, by the way, The SEC is the toughest conference to play in but thats a different thread ;)
