Yup, do not go upstairs, service is very slow, and when the food arrives it is cold. It seems most of the guys at atithi are ex-welcome restaurant. I like the snacks, the dosa, idli, vada, are almost the same as Bonanza. I like to have a vada, idli dunked in a bowl of sambar. For me the sambar at Atithi is better than Bonanza. I am also told some of my friends get their catering done from them.

The problem we faced at Bonanza was that we usually ended up paying two or three times our bill, (someone would pay the bill before leaving and then when one of us asked, we were billed again. I know, its our mistake.)

As I like chips.... Atithi, have a fantastic chips pack - hot and spicy. The also have a chicken dish which is mwah.

Have you guys tried "Star of India" we visit this place often for the buffet. Nice and spicy.

Han19, Atithi is on the Grand Hamad Avenue. If you are travelling from the Corniche to sword structure, take the signal left after AlFardan building (I think you have CBQ HQ at this signal) go straight for 50m and turn left, this road leads to the Bus Station. you should see Atithi on the right, there is a bora tree next to it(it is a small place).
