You should have seen the queues at the one and only lisenced store in Q the last few days before Ramadam. It made tescos on Xmas eve look empty. my husband queued for nearly 2 hours. So what that means is every expat colleague in your company is sitting smugly on their little nest of alcohol safe in the knowledge that they wont go dry before ramadam ends (us included ha ha). See if you can buy a bottle off someone. I'd offer you one only I'm worried we might run dry before the end of ....
I thought the hotels like the Intercontenental and Ramada,or Garveys and the Rugby club still sold alcohol at certain descreet times - might be worth askin. I ll ask my husband' he is the fountain of all knowledge in our house hold now that i am no longer working myself and have become a lady wot lunches...and drinks...
